
Nicole Phoa
Nicole Phoa is a dancer, teacher and choreographer based in Toronto, Ontario. She is a graduate of the Dance Performance Program at Centennial College, as well as an alumni of York Dance Academy’s competitive team and has experience in many styles of dance. Nicole has a background in competitive dance and has expanded her career over the years in both the professional performance and choreography industries.
Nicole kicked off her professional career by dancing for Canada’s Wonderland. She started as an atmosphere performer in “Vampire Disco” for Halloween Haunt, then became a Canterbury theatre dancer for Winterfest, in the production of “Tinker’s Toy Factory” (2024). Since then, she has received the opportunity to dance for Disney Cruise Lines, on the Disney Wish, in 2025, performing in many deck shows and productions of The Walt Disney Theatre during her contract. Most recently, Nicole has been a part of the inaugural cast of “Retrospect” (2026) at Canada’s Wonderland and continues to perform for many entertainment companies in Toronto.
Nicole also works behind the scenes of the dance performance industry as a teacher and choreographer throughout the Greater Toronto Area, with experience in choreographing for college varsity dance teams, recreational and competitive studios and school programs. She teaches a variety of classes in all age groups and is eager to continue to inspire dancers of all ages everywhere. Nicole is passionate about making the dance world inclusive for all people. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for all of her students, regardless of age and level and aspires to be a trustworthy and encouraging mentor to anyone who takes her classes.
