As a graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School and the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, Laura has had the privilege of training and working with some of the world’s leading professionals in dance. Laura has taught a wide range of ages and abilities ranging from recreational to professional trained students in ballet and other forms of dance. Laura has been on staff at Canada’s National Ballet School in both their full time and summer school program.

Spending her high school years training at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada in Belleville Ontario, she had the experience to travel and perform The Nutcracker yearly with a live orchestra. To further her dance training she graduated from George Brown’s Performance Dance Studies Program which lead her to her love of teaching.

While at Canada’s National Ballet School in their Teacher Training Program Laura hold teaching qualifications in National Dance through the Imperial Society of Teachers and Dancing, as well as an Associate standing with the Cecchetti Society of Canada. Having completed examinations for both Cecchetti and RAD majors, her teaching qualifications allow her to enter children into ballet examinations.

Laura has had some of her students successfully attend summer schools and been offered full time positions at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen and Canada’s National Ballet School. For the past two years Laura was the head of the Ballet Department at In Motion School of Dance in Bermuda.

She is excited to be joining our full time staff to share her passion of dance with our students.
