Pamelah is a passionate and motivated dancer who always had the utmost love for the art of dance. She began her dance career at the young age of 3 and excelled to the competitive level by age 8, becoming a competitive dancer at York Dance Academy. Pamelah has trained and competed in various forms of dance throughout her 10 years of training at YDA. She has completed and passed several Cecchetti ballet examinations and continues to focus her studies on the Cecchetti syllabus.

Throughout her dance career, Pamelah has been given many opportunities to expand her knowledge of dance and continue to develop her abilities as a dancer by performing in professional shows such as “The Nutcracker” in 2013 and 2015 presented at the Newmarket Theatre. As well as the acclaimed “On The Floor: A Night for SickKids” Gala in September of 2016 at the Flato Markham Theatre.

After graduating from YDA, she had the great privilege of coming back to her studio to pass along what she has learned through dance to her students. She taught for various camps, intensives and year-round classes. Earlier in the year, Pamelah taught at the Gibson Centre for The Arts annual “Taste of the Arts” event in the New Tecumseth area. As well as teaching dance camps for their School of the Arts program throughout the summer. Through the “YDA To Go!”, Pamelah was also able to teach 1-4 year old munchkins at the Simcoe Montessori School, where her little ones showed her the pure joy dance has and why she began teaching dance in the first place.

Pamelah is really excited to bring her love of dance to all students this year! She hopes to inspire her new students to express themselves through movement, helping them to appreciate this artform as much as she does herself!
