Jessica Mannara

Jessica found her passion at the age of ten, when she started competing at national and international levels. She has had many years
experience in jazz, tap, ballet, hip- hop, acrobatics, contemporary and musical theatre. Jessica holds a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Dance. During her four years at York University, Jessica has performed in York University’s MFA Show, with the piece “Kindred”, choreographed by Alumni, Suma Nair. Jessica also had the opportunity to perform in “Fall Immersion”, a show produced by York Alumni
Nikolaos Markakis and Suma Nair. Recently Jessica’s choreographic work “Entity”, “Ice Moon”, “Wicca” and “(IN)Between” have been showcased at the four latest series of Fever After Dark Showcase produced by Jerome Bobb. Her piece, “Hearts Perplexity” Performed by City Dance Corps performance company, The Collective, has been showcased at Dance Ontario weekend through City Dance Corps.

Jessica is the proud founder of D’Air Dance Collective, a pre-professional/professional performance company. With the company, Jessica has successfully produced three sold out productions, “Carn’Evil’”, “Opia” and “XPerience”. Jessica and D’Air Dance Collective were recently showcased in York Region Arts Council’s promotional video for The Artrepreneur Program and Tourism in Vaughan.

Jessica is a certified Acrobatic Arts, Rhythm Works Integrated dance and Youth Protection Advocates in Dance instructor, and she is excited to share her knowledge with her students and dance families around the GTA.
