Maria was born and raised in South America surrounded by musicians and dancers. She was drawn to all kinds of music but especially to Latin rhythms which eventually led her to join a salsa dance group.

In 2007, she moved to Toronto where she was able to train in many other styles, working at Danceology as a Ballroom and Latin Dance teacher in addition to performing for many audiences.

In 2012 she joined Arthur Murray’s dance studios where she trained with many world renowned coaches in the industry and taught students of all levels; competing and performing.

Maria recently took some time off to have two wonderful children and her absence has reminded her of the importance of being true to one’s passion and following the calling of your heart.  She is looking forward to sharing her passion with you!
